Nestled in the village of Saint Gervais d'Auvergne, at the gates of the Auvergne Volcano Park, our hostelry has pleasant, renovated rooms with modern and colourful bathrooms.

Two styles of breakfast - traditional or farm products will be served to you in a cosy room independent from our restaurant.

In the hotel, no two rooms are the same. The charming hotel is an old building that has been fully renovated over the years....... You will find antique furniture with a mixture of old and new present throughout the hotel. Our rooms are all decorated in a unique way with special care taken to provide maximum comfort with a touch of modernity to be found in our bathrooms.

In our restaurant our aim is to provide sophisticated yet traditional fare. You will be seated in a typical hostelry atmosphere with beams and chequered orange and yellow curtains.

You can taste :

Veal kidneys with locally produced Charroux mustard,
Truffade,
Beef fillet with morel mushrooms,
Biscuit style dessert served with green verbena from Le Puy etc.........

During your meal you can contemplate the objects dotted throughout the room which are available for purchase.

On each table you will find an old chandelier that you can turn on at your leisure to make your meal even cosier or more romantic......

Without any fuss and judging both the cuisine and the atmosphere, you will be charmed by our warm family spirit.

Arrival in the late afternoon,
Check-in to your room,
Distribution of the Vulcania access map for your visit the following day (we have prepared a 30 minute journey to give you an opportunity to discover our beautiful countryside).

Plan to arrive at the hotel before 6pm and we will direct you to an authentic farm (which produces a local cheese called ‘le Pressé des Combrailles') at milking time for their cows and goats. You can watch and if you wish, purchase some cheese. We are happy to store this cheese for you until you leave the hotel.

The Relais d'Auvergne is open from March 8th to November 11th each year.
We are happy to accept a single pet per room (dog or cat) small or medium sized, house-trained and accustomed to hotels. The applied tariff is 5 € per day.
Our restaurant opening hours: Lunch from 12pm to 2pm - Dinner from 7:15pm to 9 :00pm. For our clients comfort we do not accept late weddings or banquets.
Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 10:00am.
Our rooms "no smoking" are available from 3:00pm. Check-out is before 11:00am. It is essential to inform us by telephone the day of your arrival should you intend to arrive after 9:30pm.
We accept ‘tickets restaurant' for meal payment as well as ‘chèques vacances' for your stay.
We have a private closed car park. Internet via wireless connection is available free-of-charge in all of our rooms.
